My letter to Santa

My letter to santa

Dear Santa Claus

My name is Jacob. I am 9 years old and I go to Panmure Bridge School. I really want to know how you can get down the Chimney with all of those presents? I deserve presents because I have been helping my mum make all of the beds Around the house, doing the dishes 3 times a week and I have been helping with the washing.

I would like a playstation 3, Uncharted 3, battlefeild 3, Call of duty MW3, some touch boots and an Ipod Nano.

I wish you a merry christmas santa.

From your friend

Jacob

My french design

I chose some of these colours because they are on the french flag. I chose the Eifel tower because it made France famous. I put a french stick on because many New Zealanders use them to make chicken rolls and use them for buns.

Making 3D Nets

Making 3D Nets
On Monday Room5 made 3D cubes. We made big cubes and small cubes using skewers, Wine Gums and tooth picks. Miss Paton said we have to be in a group of twos. I went with Jarred. We made a big cube. We needed 8 Wine Gums and 12 skewers. a cube has six faces. Our cube couldn’t stand because of the weight. The small ones could stand. Next we had to estimate how long one skewer is. I estimated 20 centimetres. I measured one and it was 20 centimetres. Next we had to estimate how long it will be if we broke it apart and make a long line from it. I estimated 240 centimetres. I measured it and it was 240 centimetres. I went six twenty’s and that equals 240. After when we finished we got to eat the wine gums.

The mintie challenge

This graph is about who could tear a mintie wrapper the longest. The mintie challenge is in centimetres. My one was 32 centimetres. The longest one was Rachel's one. Her one was 108 centimeters. The shortest one was Henry's. His one was 19 centimeters. Heaps of people ripped their one. I was very close to beet my estimation. I enjoyed the challenge.

My report on Ma'a Nonu

MA’A ALLAN NONU

Ma’a Nonu was born in May 21, 1982 Wellington, New Zealand. His height is 6 foot tall and his weight is 110 kilograms. His nicknames are rock and skux. He went to Rongotai College in Wellington. He plays for the Hurricanes and the All Blacks. His positions are centre and wing. Nonu is playing for the Wellington Lions. Nonu is known for his blonde-streaked dreadlocks and former penchant for wearing eyeliner on the field. He is equally well-known for his explosiveness and powerful attacking runs and regularly breaks the defensive line at will. Nonu has a similar attacking skillset to former All Black centre Tana Umaga. Like Umaga, he is an exceptional crash ball runner who excels at breaking the line and creating space for outside backs. In 2005, Henry described Nonu as "young Tana," underlining the impression that he was being groomed as a potential successor to Umaga. This comparison has been confirmed in recent times by Wayne Smith. He made his provincial debut for Wellington in the 2002 NPC and debuted for the Hurricanes in the 2003 Super 12. He played for the New Zealand Sevens in 2004. On the back of some outstanding Super 12 form, Nonu made his Test debut for the All Blacks on June 14, 2003, starting at centre in a 15-13 loss to England. Nonu missed selection for the 2003 Tri Nations, with the selecters preferring Umaga, Aaron Mauger and Daniel Carter in the midfield. He was selected for the All Blacks' 2003 World Cup squad and played in pool matches against Canada, Italy and Tonga. His first Test try against Canada and was generally impressive on attack and easily breaking the line and his big stature was intimidating to the opposition. However, question marks over his defensive game and inexperience meant he was not selected for the knockout stage of the tournament despite an injury to Umaga. He made his provincial debut for Wellington in the 2002 N.P.C. and debuted for the Hurricanes in the 2003 super 12. He played for New Zealand sevens in 2004. Nonu played wing for most of the games in 2005 super 12, with Conrad Smith prefferred as Tana Umaga’s midfeild partner. In December, 2006 Nonu expressed a desire to switch codes to rugby league and play in the National rugby league after the 2007 rugby world cup. On July 1st, 2011 Nonu announced that he was going to play for the Auckland Blues.

My report on Jonah Lomu

Jonah Lomu was born in South Auckland May 12 1975 and his parents were Tongan. He went to tonga for five years to learn about his culture. Jonah Lomu got all the diseases when he was a young boy. When he was nine he was very big and he had to run behind the car when they went to church. Jonah got pulled him out of school and Jonah went to Wesly college in Pukekohe because he had no company and he had heaps of trouble. He ran a 100 metres in 10 .8 seconds. He weighed 116 kilograms and his height is 1.96 metres tall. When he was nineteen he got selected for the All Blacks to play against France. He played two games on the wing and he has especially bad memories from the second game in Auckland, when he missed vital tackles. It was a hard introduction to top rugby for Jonah, and he nearly turned to league. But then came the 1995 rugby world cup, and he was selected for the black jersey again. All Jonah wanted to do was put on the black jersey and show everyone that he could score tries and fiend.

Working with Miss G

Yesterday I got a netbook and it was awesome. We did a countdown to turn the netbook on.  I was very excited when I got my netbook. Some people didn’t get their netbooks. We played games on it and we had a look around on it. I played around with the webcam. I played tux math, tux paint, tux typing and 3D chess. We went on the internet to do our google docs.
